HABIT Dogs at the Veterans Resource Center
Veterans Student Services would especially like to celebrate the many graduate students at UT who are active duty service members, veterans, reservists, and guardsmen during Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week. From noon to 1pm on April 1st, Shiloh, one of the HABIT therapy dogs will be on hand.
HABIT (Human-Animal Bond in Tennessee) is composed of representatives from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, volunteers from the community, and private veterinary practitioners. One of their primary goals is to promote the valuable bond between people and animals, and they sponsor programs that foster pet visitation to many facilities, including the Veterans Resource Center.
Everyone is invited to come by during that time and meet Shiloh, as well as visit the Veterans Resource Center to see all that they can offer our UT veterans. UT graduate students are particularly welcome this week, in appreciation for all that they do for our university.
