Infusing Disability within Recreation and Sport Management

The Department of Kinesiology, Recreation, and Sport Studies (KRSS) in the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences invites you to join them as Joshua Pate, associate professor at the Hart School of Hospitality, Sport and Recreation Management at James Madison University, presents "Infusing Disability within Recreation and Sport Managment."  Pate is the 2018-19 Sport Studies Doctor Alumni Scholar from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville KRSS program.

Pate's research is focused on disability sport, the experiences of individuals in sport, and sport communication and media.  His visit will coincide with Therapeutic Recreation month and will include this presentation, guest lectures in KRSS courses, and an opportunity to meet with students and faculty.
