Video screen capture, known as screencasting, is an excellent way to provide students with quick, short, “just in time” instruction that’s available for them to access anytime, anywhere, and at their own pace. Screencasting is also an excellent option for providing annotated feedback, or a creative means for students to share and demonstrate knowledge. In this workshop we will explore options for creating and sharing screencasts to enhance both teaching and learning, using your own available video capture technology (e.g., mobile phone, tablet, etc.), Canvas or Zoom.
