Intellectual Property: Legal Careers for STEM
Most people who pursue and receive a STEM degree do not think about careers in intellectual property law, but they are in high demand. In this workshop, you will hear why engineers make good lawyers and the various professional jobs involving patent law that you can pursue with a STEM degree. You will also learn about the process to become a patent lawyer, potential job prospects, and the typical salary of someone in patent law. Whether you are seriously considering the idea of becoming a patent lawyer, or this is your first time hearing about it, this is a great opportunity to learn more about an additional career path you may not have previously considered.
