Justice Studies and the Appalachian Justice Research Center are pleased to present the second in a year-long series of speaker events. This event features a talk by Emma Russell, Dr. Emma Russell, Associate Professor of Crime, Justice and Legal Studies in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, La Trobe University, Melbourne Australia. Dr Russell's talk is titled "The New Incapacitation: Risk, Insecurity, and Bail Injustice". Dr Judah Schept (Eastern Kentucky University) and Dr Bronwyn Dobchuk-Land (University of Winnipeg) will be discussants. All are welcome, and food and drinks will be served.
