A Framework for Achieving Mental Health Equity for Youth: Moving from Information Sharing to Empowerment through Service, Education, Research and Community Engagement. Keynote address with Altha Stewart, MD, Senior Associate Dean for Community Health Engagement at UT Health Science Center, Associate Professor and Chief of Social/Community Psychiatry, Director of the Center for Youth Advocacy and Well-Being at UTHSC, member of the UTK CSW Board of Visitors. Dr. Stewart will discuss some lessons learned and challenges of her work surrounding youth mental health in Memphis – specifically through the Center for Youth Advocacy and Well-Being. This keynote address will be convened by Social Work faculty, Dr. Dashawna Fussell-Ware. Lunch will be provided - registration is required. Space limited to 110 participants.
