Kids U Summer Camp: Life Skills (Grades 8-12, rising)
In this camp we'll cover the life skills essential to preparing young adults for college and adulthood.
Each day we'll focus on a different topic, and you'll participate in hands-on activities as well as role-playing activities.
Topics will include finances—budgeting, balancing a checkbook, etc.; social skills—respecting others, taking responsibility, resolving conflicts, etc.; communication skills—listening to directions, speaking clearly, writing formally and for personal reasons, etc.; chores—sorting laundry, washing dishes, setting a table, mending clothes, etc.; and time management and work ethic skills.
Please note that Life Skills is designed for students in rising grades 8-12.
