Language Practice : French
Always wanted to learn another language? Want to work on perfecting your second language? Or maybe you are just looking for a little taste of what languages from around the world are like? Here’s your chance! Language Practice at the I-House is made up of conversation groups that allow students to practice their language skills in a relaxed and informal setting with a native speaker of the language. No grades here! These groups are led by our current international students and give all students, scholars, and staff the opportunity to enhance their knowledge.
*We are now offering hybrid options for Language Practice. You may attend in person at the I-House (capacity limited to the first 8 people that arrive – masks, sanitizing, & social distancing required), OR via Zoom. Practices occurring ONLY via Zoom with NO in-person component are the Chinese, Italian, and French sessions. Please see below for a list of the new languages that will be hosted through the remainder of the Fall 2020 semester. To access each weekly Zoom meeting, please click on the desired language or go to Zoom.
Students are required to adhere to all campus safety guidelines, including social distancing and wearing face coverings, for this and other events. Learn more about event guidelines.
