MATLAB: Image Processing (Special Topic)
Image processing and analysis provides a means to extract and quantify objects and patterns in image data in various research fields. MATLAB is an efficient tool for image processing applications ranging from common contrast enhancement and noise reduction, to more complex ones such as image segmentation. This workshop is intended to introduce the digital image processing basics and demonstrate commonly used techniques to manage, process and analyze image data in MATLAB. Prior preliminary knowledge of MATLAB is preferred but not required. This is a special topic. Special topics are advanced, one-time workshops open to anyone interested in attending.
