An informal panel discussing McCarthy’s life, his writing, and film adaptations of his work will include panelists Liliana Gonzalez (speaking about the film No Country for Old Men), Stacey Peebles (speaking about gender and representations of women in McCarthy’s fiction), Wes Morgan (who will speak about McCarthy’s ties to and history in Knoxville), and Roland Kopp (a member of the German band Buddy and the Huddle, who will speak about his band’s interest in the novel Suttree).
