Morgan Hall Centennial Celebration and Time Capsule Reveal
Morgan Hall was occupied in 1921 and formally dedicated on June 7, 1921, making this its centennial year. The celebration will include opening the time capsule installed in 1919 and installing a time capsule of our own.
The celebration will be streamed via Facebook Live from the UT Institute of Agriculture's Facebook page.
Remarks from university leadership, including Senior Vice President and Senior Vice Chancellor Tim Cross, UT System President Randy Boyd, and UT, Knoxville, Chancellor Donde Plowman, will be followed by photo opportunities, refreshments, and an opportunity to view the items in both the 1921 and 2021 time capsules.
Attendees traveling from the Knoxville campus should plan to utilize the T, with stops near Morgan Hall on Joe Johnson Drive and at the northeast corner of the Food Science Building.
