NE Colloquium - Jeffrey Binder Ph.D. - "Progress in the Development of Domestic Radioisotope Production"

The development and advancement of technologies to domestically produce radioisotopes has made significant progress in the last decade.  Drivers for developing domestic production has been driven by non-proliferation goals, aging traditional production facilities, and the increase in opportunities for the application of radioisotopes for science, medical, and industrial demands.  This seminar will focus on a review of current public and private efforts to develop new technologies for isotope production.
