Postdoctoral fellowships are one of the most effective ways to pursue independent research and demonstrate a proven track record of funding after earning your PhD. Please join us for a workshop where we will provide an overview of one potential postdoctoral fellowship, the NSF Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Biology (PRFB), hosted by past recipients and reviewers. We will explain the overall structure of the award solicitation, provide some helpful tips and strategies for drafting a strong application, and host a panel discussion based on Q and A from potential applicants. There will also be some opportunity to receive feedback on written application material.

Postdoctoral scholars within two years of graduating from their doctoral degree and doctoral students within two years of graduating with their doctoral degree are strongly encouraged to attend.
