https://prepare.utk.edu/emergency-management/The Office of Emergency Management’s (OEM) primary function is to provide campus level planning, training, and emergency management program coordination and implementation. Coordination includes ensuring proper integration of local, state, and federal efforts. The Office of Emergency Management provides guidance and support to campus-wide preparedness efforts and is currently in receipt of a federal grant to update the campus hazard mitigation plan.
The campus community has an opportunity to provide valuable input to assist the planning team to accurately identify hazards and strategies for mitigating the impact of an incident. This feedback will be considered for incorporation into the final plan. We welcome you to come to ask questions and give your opinion!
