Preservation Party: Picture Perfect

Digital cameras have made capturing images so easy, but there is a charm to the old photos from by-gone eras. They can be scanned, but not really replicated. Join the McClung Museum and UT's Special Collections for a fun session that will teach you how to properly care for and showcase old photographs. Partcipants will be treated to a hands-on demo courtesy of preservationist, Amanda Richards. Save the precious pictures of your grandmother when she was young or of your parents before you were born, just in time to capture new memories during the holiday season. Refreshments will be available, including a cash bar. This event for for people who are 21 and older only.
