Title: Entanglement entropy in the Heisenberg XXZ model

Abstract: In this talk, I will give an overview over recent results on the entanglement entropy for the one-dimensional Heisenberg XXZ model. For the spin-1/2 case, Beaud and Warzel showed that generic low-energy states satisfy a logarithmically corrected area law. I will talk about the extension of this result to higher-energy states for the spin-1/2 case (joint work with H. Abdul-Rahman and G. Stolz for the upper bound and R. Schulte for the lower bound) but also to the case of higher local spins (joint work with O. Ogunkoya).
