Title:   Intersections and self-intersections for Brownian motion on Carnot group

Speaker: Alexey Rudenko, Ukrainian Academy of Science

Abstract: The topic of the talk is the existence of intersections and self-intersections for a class of processes, that can be represented as smooth functions from the Brownian motion on Carnot group. To prove the existence we are going to use the corresponding "weighted" local times of intersection or self-intersection. The conditions for the existence are in the form of relations between local geometry of the Carnot group and the local behaviour of the smooth function defining the process.
