Public COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic at Student Health Center
Public COVID-19 vaccine clinics at the Student Health Center are for members of the general public, including UT students, faculty, staff, and retirees, to receive the vaccine.
Vaccine type
Attendees will receive Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen single-dose vaccine, which is approved for emergency use for those age 18 and older.
According to the FDA and CDC, women younger than 50 years old should be aware of the rare risk of blood clots with low platelets after receiving this vaccine. Other COVID-19 vaccines are available where this risk has not been seen. If you have questions about this risk, please speak with a health care provider before receiving the vaccine.
