The public COVID-19 vaccine clinic at the UT Institute of Agriculture is for members of the general public, including UT students, faculty, staff, and retirees, to receive the vaccine.

Vaccine type

Attendees will receive Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen single-dose vaccine. The university offers vaccination appointments to those age 18 and older. You must be 18 or older to make an appointment.

According to the FDA and CDC, women younger than 50 years old should be aware of the rare risk of blood clots with low platelets after receiving this vaccine. Other COVID-19 vaccines are available where this risk has not been seen. If you have questions about this risk, please speak with a health care provider before receiving the vaccine.
