This special concert will celebrate the 80th anniversary of composer Sergei Rachmaninoff's final recital, which was played at the University of Tennessee in 1943. The program will include Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini and Symphonic Dances, and will feature Sandra G. Powell Endowed Professor of Piano Chih-Long Hu and guest conductor Victor Yampolsky.
