Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is a systematic methodology for identifying the root cause of problems. Performing RCA and implementing the mitigation or elimination of issues is at the heart of continuous improvement. This holds true for all parts of the organization (equipment failures requiring maintenance, predictive technology finds operation disruptions, material handling shortages, all assets, processes and product. It enables such things as future problems from recurring, improves safety, reduces breakdowns, rework and scrap, eliminates quality defects, and reduces cost. This includes plant floor, facilities and administrative processes (engineering, purchasing, etc.).

From the RMC you will gain both the academic RCA knowledge and the practicable real-world advice from instructors that have extensive industrial experience.
