The naming of new elements nihonium (Z=113, moscovium (Z=115), tennessine (Z=117) and oganesson (Z=118) in 2017 was an important event for the nuclear scientists. It was a celebration of efforts for researchers from laboratories around the world, which were involved in the challenges of superheavy elements discoveries. I will discuss not only scientific significance of these discoveries, which brought fame to the involved teams but also talk about efforts required to achieve these results.
