The workshop will include the following components:
1) interactive dialogue about service-learning as a pedagogy and its impacts on students,
2) an overview of how the University of Tennessee is supporting and incentivizing service-learning classes, including the rollout of the S-designation and Teaching & Learning Innovation grants,
3) support services and instructional resources available to faculty and staff to support service-learning courses,
4) tips to help faculty and staff move through each phase of the service-learning planning and implementation process,
5) opportunities to share your own stories, and learn of other outstanding service-learning courses here at UT.
