Learn strategies to optimize the relationship with your current mentor, improve mentoring of students you may supervise, and prepare you to be a mentor in your chosen field.

Strategies for Effective Mentoring Relationships
This series of interactive virtual discussions will feature topics designed to foster pervasive cultures of effective mentorship that promote mentee growth and development. Participants will be exposed to evidence-based strategies for fostering successful mentored experiences and offer research-informed tactics that promote productive and mutually beneficial mentoring relationships.
Sessions will be facilitated by Dr. Ja'Wanda Grant, Chief Innovation Catalyst with JSG Innovation Labs. Dr. Grant is a trained facilitator with the Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research (CIMER).
