Sew Sustainable Fashion Show

This fashion show will showcase outfits and costumes made from everyday materials and pre-existing clothing to celebrate sustainable efforts

6:30-7pm - Free Store pop-up! Student organizations will be tabling, and there will be Which Wich catered.

7pm - The Sew Sustainable Fashion Show, hosted by UTK's Free Store and SPEAK will showcase fully donated, pre-existing clothing; upcycled/mended clothing; and Halloween costumes that have been put together under the principles of a circular economy. These outfits and costumes will show the small, sustainable steps we can take everyday to prolong the longevity of our clothing to divert waste from recycling centers, landfills, and overseas countries.

As it is Halloweekend, we invite you to wear your homemade costumes, as well as thrifted finds!
