PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER!

Set your sights on the stars! Our Spring Stargazing event is now secheduled for Saturday, May 18th, from 6 PM to 11 PM. While meteor showers might not grace the skies in May, the clarity of the night promises its own unique magic, ideal for stargazing.

In partnership with the Marble Springs Historic Site, we invite you to a tranquil evening of cosmic discovery and wondrous stargazing. An open sky full of stars awaits us, offering a peaceful retreat, especially after the rush of finals week. Engage with graduate students from the Physics Department as they illuminate our understanding of the universe, from the intricate orbits of planets to the latest strides in astrophysics. They'll also bring along equipment to enhance the stargazing experience. Remember to bring your telescope, a comfortable chair, or a blanket to cozy up for the night. Admission is completely free, and while RSVPs on Zeffy are not required, they help Marble Springs prepare for the number of guests to expect. The link provided will direct you to an updated Zeffy page for the new date. Update your calendars and plan to join us for this rescheduled stargazing journey!
