Adrienne Krone, Allegheny College will present "Sustainability and Spirituality in the Jewish Community Farming Movement"
Dr. Krone's research focuses on religious food justice movements. In her manuscript, American Manna: Religious Responses to the American Industrial Food System" she examines the religious complexity of religious food reform movements through case studies at two Jewish organic farms, a Christian raw vegan diet center, and a Christian family cattle farm. Her current project is an ethnographic and historical study of the Jewish Community Farming movement in North America.
