Take Back the Night 2020 Virtual Speaker and Speak-out

Even though we won't be walking together this year, we will be supporting each other while keeping everyone safe! The "walk" portion of TBTN is way to reclaim physical space with our physical bodies. We walk to give ourselves and others a way to grieve, grow, and heal from experiences of abuse and/or harassment. This year, we will be using the Just Move app, and you can participate whenever it is convenient for you (Mon. 26th, Tues. 27th, or Wed. 28th)!
Take Back the Night is an annual event that focuses on issues of equity and justice. The event is an opportunity for students to come together, learn, and speak about domestic abuse and sexual violence, by providing a safe space to discuss personal experiences as well as a platform to increase the visibility of these issues. The event includes a virtual resource fair on October 26th @ 6 pm, a virtual speaker and speak-out on October 28th @ 6 pm, and an asynchronous march via the Just Move app taking place all three days.
