Take Back the Night is an annual event centered around domestic violence and sexual assault awareness and support for survivors. Take Back the Night is a place for the UT campus community to share personal experiences, get resources, learn from local leaders, and discuss how to make our school a safer and more just place for everyone. The event starts with a resource fair to connect local Knoxville and campus organizations that support survivors from 5:00 to 5:30 pm on the HSS Lawn. Following the resource fair, there will be a silent march and candelight vigil leaving at 5:30 from HSS. At 6:30 in A&A 111, we will host a speaker and hold a speakout for survivors to share their stories in a safe environment.
