Forage Practices that Pay

We are excited to announce the upcoming 2024 TFGC Annual Meeting – “Forage Practices
that Pay” scheduled to take place on November 8 at the Lane Agri-Park Auditorium (315
John R. Rice Blvd, Murfreesboro, TN). This event will bring together leading professionals
and experts in the industry to discuss and explore the latest trends, innovations, and
challenges in Forage-based Livestock Systems. We are reaching out to invite your
organization to participate as a sponsor, offering a unique opportunity to showcase your
brand, products, and services to a targeted audience of industry stakeholders and decisionmakers.

This year, we are thrilled to welcome Dr. Dennis Hancock, Center Director for the U.S. Dairy
Forage Research Center at USDA, who will present findings from a comprehensive
nationwide survey of forage producers. The event will feature a range of engaging topics,
including the demystification of fertilizer and lime products, nutrient removal from hay fields,
and winter grazing options. Additionally, we will host a panel of producers to share their
insights and experiences. Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit our forage plots to
see the latest research and practices in action. To conclude the day, we will honor the
winners of the TN State Fair Best of Fair Hay competition. Don’t miss this exciting forage
adventure!
