The Conversation Faculty Information Session

The Conversation specializes in promoting academics as public scholars and authors of news content focused on research. A team from The Conversation will be leading optional training sessions for faculty members on Tuesday, August 9 and Wednesday, August 10. Tuesday, August 9 sessions will be by appointment only. The one-hour sessions are focused on helping faculty be successful in “pitching” their research stories.

All training sessions will cover the same material; there will be time for questions and to talk through potential pitches. If a faculty member cannot attend the time that most aligns with their subject area, they will receive the same information from another session. Any faculty member can attend any session.
