The Meg Thompson Basket

A basket workshop making the Meg Thompson Basket will be held October 22, 2021 at Servolution Health Services beginning at 10:00 a.m.  “This small variation on a log basket will come in handy for holding magazines or kitchen utensils”.  You will learn basketry skills while making this basket with a self-made, decorative handle.  Cost for this workshop is $25.00.  There is a limit of 15 spaces and you must register by Monday, September 27, 2021 to reserve your spot.  Supplies needed will be a dishpan to soak reed, old scissors, tape measure, pencil, 6-8 clothespins or medium binder clips, sharp pocket knife to thin down reed and an old towel.  Your kit will include the materials to make basket and pattern.
