The Silence of the Allosaurs: Cannibalism Among Late Jurassic Dinosaurs
Stephanie Drumheller-Horton, lecturer in the UT Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, will present “The Silence of the Allosaurs: Cannibalism Among Late Jurassic Dinosaurs,” Friday, September 25 via Zoom.
When a rare opportunity to collect dinosaur fossils in bulk from the Mygatt-Moore Quarry in Colorado presented itself, scientists uncovered a wealth of bones with unexpected injuries and damage patterns. These traces provided new insights into how these Jurassic giants lived, died, and decomposed.
