Tips for Teaching Non-Traditional Students Online

As the university expands online program options, faculty will encounter more non-traditional students in their online and hybrid classes. Non-traditional students are those that didn’t enter college directly from high school and are often older than the average 18-22 year olds. Non-traditional students bring a wide variety of life experiences and backgrounds to the educational environment. Learn strategies for working with this diverse group of learners in online and hybrid settings, and tips for promoting their academic success.
