TN-China Network and UTK China Town Hall

TN-China Network and UTK’s Office of Asian Engagement, and History Department are co-hosting a China Town Hall event on Monday, Nov 18 from 5:45 – 7:45 pm in Student Union 377, in partnership with the National Committee on US-China Relations

The format of the event will include a one-hour webcast panel discussion moderated by George Stephanopoulos on the Sino-American relationship and the issues that are impacting us, our businesses, our educational institutions, our communities, our states, and our country. Following the webcast, we will have a 45 minute, in-person town hall-style discussion addressing the topics discussed in the webcast, with the goal of encouraging community members to talk candidly about their attitudes, concerns, and feelings surrounding the bilateral relationship. We will be inviting several TN-China business leaders in Knoxville and UT professors expert on US-Asia relations to help facilitate this town hall discussion.

It will be a very interactive event with audience members encouraged to participate.
