Please join us for our continuing free virtual literacy series (#UTLitSeries)! In February, our Literacy Team are, addressing assessment, dyslexia and fluency. These sessions are open to educators, parents, and policymakers.

The series runs on Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm – 7:30pm, February 9-23, 2021.

All sessions will be offered via Zoom and there is no need to register.

Sessions include:

Session One - hosted by Yujeong Park, associate professor of special education (https://faculty.utk.edu/Yujeong.Park) . This session is for educators and will discuss diagnostic assessments to inform lesson plans and IEPs.

Session Two- hosted by Sherry Mee Bell, professor of special education (https://faculty.utk.edu/Sherry.Bell) . This session is for educators, and will discuss demystifying dyslexia: addressing reality, assumptions, and myth.

Session Three - hosted by Amy Broemmel (https://faculty.utk.edu/Amy.Broemmel/) . This session is for educators and parents, and will cover fluency building strategies.
