In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), the Henley Street Bridge will be lit teal to show support for survivors and raise awareness about sexual violence in our community. The teal lighting also helps promote the Vols Walk for SAAM, an event that brings the community together to stand against sexual violence, support survivors, and encourage prevention through education and advocacy. Lighting the bridge serves as a visible reminder that our community is committed to creating a safer, more supportive campus and Knoxville community.
