About this Event
Join us on Friday, October 25, for the first Advancement Day of Service! Staff will have the opportunity to volunteer at one of three options around campus. Volunteers for the Big Orange Pantry are asked to RSVP to account for the capacity cap.
Gloves, grabbers, and additional materials will be provided to volunteers. Please reach out to the respective point of contact if you have any questions.
Volunteering Options
Option 1 Big Orange Pantry
Capacity: 50 people max
Location: Student Union Room 376c
POC: Amy Williams & Drake Martin
Activity: Big Orange Pantry personnel will delegate tasks to volunteers at the time of the event. Activities may include assisting on the loading dock, sorting donated goods, and/or packing boxes. Please RSVP.
Option 2 Main Campus Clean-Up
Capacity: Unlimited
Location: 21st Mortgage Plaza
POC: Ashley Myers, Allison McGlynn, & Jill Ogle
Activity: In collaboration with UT Facilities and Sustainability, volunteers will collect litter along the Pedestrian Walkway and around student housing entrances.
Option 3 Ag Campus Clean-Up
Capacity: Unlimited
Location: UT Gardens
POC: Meghan (Myers) Bips
