About this Event
Are you a graduate student or postdoc interested in enhancing their teaching skills or teaching their own course in the future?
Teaching & Learning Innovation will once again host their Facilitating Undergraduate Evidence-based Learning (F.U.E.L) Professional Development Seminar. This highly interactive, 6-session seminar will meet virtually each Wednesday from 5:30 - 7:30 pm, beginning February 3rd, 2021, and concluding March 10th, 2021.
An ideal opportunity for graduate students and postdocs that are soon to be or are currently instructors of record. This seminar introduces participants to evidence-based teaching practices and equips them with a framework for growth throughout their careers. Seminar outcomes include completing a teaching philosophy statement and presenting a discipline-specific lesson plan that follows best practices for teaching and learning. Participants that complete the course will earn Associate-level certification through the Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning (CIRTL). For more information, see our web page. To register, see our workshop page.
