UT Employee and Student COVID-19 Vaccination at Student Health Center
The university is participating in the statewide effort to vaccinate Tennesseans in order to control the spread of COVID-19 and protect people from serious illness.
Who it’s for: UT employee and student COVID-19 vaccinations at the Student Health Center are for UT students, faculty, and staff who are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine based on the State of Tennessee’s distribution plan, which prioritizes vaccine recipients by age- or risk-based phases.
Recipients must be in one of the current phases for Knox County.
Attendees will receive the first dose of the Moderna vaccine.
Appointments: View upcoming signups and make appointments online at https://tiny.utk.edu/vaccine_appointment. A UT NetID and password are required.
Please schedule appointments online. The Student Health Center cannot make appointments by phone.
Because the Moderna vaccine requires two doses, make sure you are available for both the first and second appointments. The signup pages include both dates. The signup pages also include information about what you need to bring to your vaccination appointment.
Appointments can fill quickly, but you can check the calendar for additional UT employee and student COVID-19 vaccinations and signup pages for possible openings
For information about the location, directions, and parking, carefully read the information on the signup pages. Campus operators can provide additional assistance at 865-974-1000.
Campus operators cannot set appointments.

Additional options for vaccination: The supply of COVID-19 vaccines remains limited, and a variety of distributors are providing vaccinations in our area. The State of Tennessee has a vaccine locator tool where those in eligible phases can find locations administering the vaccine in their county and make an appointment. Check the state vaccine locator tool.

it was not organized properly - i.e., it was not indicated that one must register to get the vaccine. And the website is not very clear how to register (after the fact of walking to clinic and back).
