The UT Percussion Ensembles open the UT Percussion Festival with a bang, joined by the festival's Honor Percussion Ensemble, composed of top-tier high school percussion students, and guest artist Josh Torres!
Josh Torres currently serves as the Director of Percussion at Center Grove High School in Greenwood, IN, as well as the Adjunct Lecturer of Percussion at Franklin College in Franklin, IN. He also serves as the director of the Indianapolis Colts Drumline, and in 2012 served as the coordinator for the Super Bowl XLVI Drumline, which performed the National Anthem with Kelly Clarkson and the Halftime Show with Madonna to over 113 million viewers.
This showcase of the UT Percussion Ensembles is part of the UT Percussion Festival, but is free and open to the public!
