UT Social Media Week: Social Media: Nurturing Connections with Retargeting
With US websites across various industries only converting an average of 2.23% of their overall website traffic, a top priority for any brand or organization should be the reinforcement of that initial or repeat connection. Social Retargeting, or using a website audience list to advertise on social media platforms, is being adopted as a cornerstone of many brands’ marketing efforts because of the high ROI associated with serving ads to people who have already shown interest in that brand’s products or services. In this workshop we will review how Social Retargeting works, the providers associated with social retargeting, explore case studies, and have a hands-on session where each participant will create a social retargeting campaign in Facebook Ads Manager around a mock scenario.
