Bailey (SUNY Binghamton, author of “The Weeping Time: Memory and the Largest Slave Auction in American History”) and Dr. David Kline (Religious Studies, UT), both experts on the U.S. experience of slavery and race. Sponsored by Veritas UT and co-sponsored by the UT Departments of Religious Studies and History. Veritas provides a forum for scholarly discussion on timely topics in a spirit of respectful dialogue between Christian and secular perspectives.
