In celebration of Black History Month, the Africana Studies Program and the International House present:
Virtual Film Screening of the movie Sankofa
Description: A model on a photo shoot in Ghana encounters an old mystic who transports her into the past, where she becomes enslaved and experiences the horrific realities of slavery.
Following the film, there will be a brief discussion led by Dr. Amadou Sall.
