Virtual Short Story Contest

As a kickoff event for National Novel Writing Month, Hodges Library is hosting a virtual write-in and short story contest. The Write-In will be on Tuesday October 20th from 6pm-8pm. During the event, prompts will be given for the short story contest. The prompts must be used for the short stories being sent in. Those participating in the contest can start on their short stories or work on other creative writing projects they may have. We will continue to take submissions for the short story contest through Tuesday October 27th. After that, the winner will be announced and receive a $25 gift card. Also, the winner, along with other selected short stories, will be published in Speaking Volumes and the National Novel Writing Month libguide here
