The mission of VOLiente is to provide students at the University of Tennessee Knoxville and the local community with an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of assorted Latin dance styles in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment by offering group instruction of all levels by professional dancers and hosting various social events. Drop-in anytime we have a meet, beginners welcome! Be sure to join our Facebook page to keep up to date with our event meeting locations as we meet at different locations almost every week and the UTK Calender may not be accurate!

Join us for a unique and exciting cardio workout, to connect with other students whom you otherwise wouldn't meet, or just to try something unique and out-of-the box! Having a partner beforehand is not required as we rotate! Just come in whatever is comfortable to dance in!

This is a renewed student organization and we are actively seeking new members yearlong! Feel free to stop by every Wednesday from 6:30pm - 7:45pm (sign in at 6:20) in the stated location in the event to join us, and keep up to date with news and fun local events in the Knoxville dance community on our Facebook group!

Note: After 2 free trial meets there is a $20 membership charge per semester (or $5 charge per installment) for students/faculty/staff, and $12 per class for members of the public to help pay for club costs. We also have a special deal with SalsaKnox Dance Company since we work closely with the owner, if you are a SalsaKnox member ($37/mo) you can get into our meets for free!
