When Race, Religion, and Sport Collide: A Conversation with Dr. Darron T. Smith

Lecture and panel discussion on race, religion and sport in the United States. Dr. Smith will be discussing his book "When Race, Religion, and Sport Collide: Black Athletes at BYU and Beyond." Of particular interest is his examination of the intersection of race and sport. A panel discussion on race and sport will follow the lecture. This event is open to the campus community and general public. The event is sponsored by the Center for the Study of Sport and Religion/Department of Kinesiology, Recreation, and Sport Studies.
