Join the University of Tennessee Appalachian Justice Research Center, the Justice Studies Interdisciplinary Program, and the Highlander Research and Education Center for an evening with Andrew Krinks as he discusses his new book, White Property, Black Trespass: Racial Capitalism and the Religious Function of Mass Criminalization.
Andrew Krinks is a writer, educator, scholar, organizer, and movement builder working at the intersections of religion, racial capitalism, mass criminalization, and abolition in Nashville, Tennessee. In White Property, Black Trespass, Dr. Krinks offers a critical exploration of the religious foundations and interconnections of whiteness, property, and police, and the possibility of a world beyond them.
