The Wilma Dykeman Stokely Memorial Lecture is is annual event hosted by UT Libraries and the Friends of the Knox County Public Library. Each year a dyanamic and engaging speaker is invited to speak on topics surrounding gender and racial inequalities, social justice, Appalachia, and enviornmental issues. This year's speaker is Carolyn Finney, author of Black Faces, White Spaces. Join us to hear Finney bridge the fields of enviornmental history and racial vioence.
