Please join One Health Initiative as we kick off our rally week,  with a free one-hour yoga class in the UT gardens! The CDC recommends adults move/exercise at least 150 minutes per week and yoga is a great way to start incorporating movement into your weekly routine. Yoga helps to increase your balance and flexibility, clear your mind, build strength, reduce anxiety, and helps to protect your body from injury.

The UT One Health Initiative is a campus-wide initiative dedicated to protecting and promoting the health of all life on earth, including humans, animals, plants, and the environment. We tackle complex issues like food insecurity, biodiversity loss, climate change, and antimicrobial resistance—issues that Tennesseans face every day.

We’re hosting a One Health Rally at various locations across campus from April 17-21. Through this week-long event, we hope to spread awareness about One Health and strengthen the network we’ve been building on campus. This event will feature research talks, expert panels, community events, and creative presentations on the important One Health-related work currently underway at UT.

Parking options:

  • Several free parking spots are available at the gardens
  • a public lot is located on Neyland Drive and you can walk the Neyland Greenway to the Gardens
  • C4, S65, S66 permits have lots near the gardens

Additional information: This is an all-level vinyasa (flow) yoga class. Modifications and amplifications will be offered.

Please bring water, a yoga mat, and wear clothes to move in.
